Kindness Ripples out
When you do one small act of kindness how do you feel? What comes up for you? Does your day get better? By being kind and doing kind things for others it brings up your own vibration. This act has to be genuine, it can’t be done for selfish gain or for admiration from others. This must be coming from a place of love, given freely, without conditions.
I have been actively practicing this. Not because of selfish reasons but because when I share love like that it makes me feel so good. I feel like all the crap that keeps cycling out there goes away because I’m doing something bigger then myself. That feeling makes everything lighter and brighter. When we give without thinking about ourselves it ripples out into the world.
So what are some ways that you can practice kindness? Check in on a friend. Talk to a stranger when you are out. By someone’s coffee when you are in the drive-thru, buy someone a book or give a book that inspired you. There are all sorts of way to practice kindness. Write someone a thoughtful note and leave it on their car(not in creeper way), plane a walk with someone who is lonely. There is limitless ways to be kind.
What is one of your favorite ways that you like to practice kindness? Don’t have a way? Then try finding something you like to do and practice it everyday. Whether it be writing a note for yourself, finding ways to be grateful. So start tomorrow, write down what you want to begin doing and hop to it. Kindness is magic, spread that out into the world!
